The New Covenant

What did the New Covenant accomplish for all people

(Jews and Gentiles)?

No longer is it a "work" of men to interceded on our behalf but of God who is the Lord of all creation, who intercedes on our behalf. "In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. " (Hebrews 8:13)

The letter of the law of the old covenant brought death to all, but the new covenant shall bring life to all. It is a process. Some in this life others in the next. " Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life? (2 Corinthians 3:8)

Can we expect anything less from God? The blood of goats and bulls year after year did not take away the stain of sin and death. But the Savior of the Universe brought peace through His own blood to take away death for all time for all people! " He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus securing eternal redemption forever." (Hebrews 9:12)

Christ intercedes for all people for all time there is no set deadline. King David knew God is everywhere; in the Grave, in the depths of Sheol. He is the God of the living and the dead. "I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there." (Psalm 139:7-8)
